Email Accounts

Exchange Email with Anyone in the World

The Email application is a convenient, full-featured, web-based email program accessible from your WebOffice site. Each user is assigned a personalized email address that uses your organization's WebOffice address (e.g., bob@mycompany.webofficesite.com).

The Email application allows you to quickly and easily:

  • Exchange email with anyone in the world
  • Conveniently send and receive email while you're doing other work on your WebOffice
If you have an existing company email address, you can set it as your primary AIM email address, or you can establish a new AIM email account to allow you to check your messages from your WebOffice site.

As part of the AIM online collaboration suite, the Email application is readily available from anywhere in the world using a simple web browser.

Customized Email for Your Organization

As the WebOffice administrator, you decide whether to enable the web-based Email application in your WebOffice site, or whether to use your existing email service. If you choose to enable web-based Email for your WebOffice, all authorized users, from project teams to remote workers to departmental groups, can create personal email accounts.

    Whether you are in the office, on the road or working at home, you'll always have easy access to the content of your email messages.

  • Prioritize Email by Category
    Members of project teams can prioritize project-related email or separate it from general email.

  • Access Your Email from Anywhere
    Employees on the road or at a remote office can receive and send email quickly.

Because we know that you already have a company email service, we have designed the AIM web-based email to be flexible enough to meet your requirements. You can enable it for a project team WebOffice to keep project-related mail separate from company mail, or you can disable it to prevent overlapping functionality. The choice is yours.

Web-based Email Features
Address Book Use the included address book to store email addresses and nicknames, as well as other information for contacts including phone numbers, addresses, and birthdays.
Distribution
Lists		 Create distribution lists from the address book.
Multi-Level
Personal Folders		 Sort and organize emails in multi-level personal folders.
External
Mail Access		 Configure your web-based Email to check email from up to 5 of your other POP3 email accounts.
Attachments Send and receive file attachments.
HTML Viewer Receive and display HTML-formatted email messages.
Personalities &
Signatures		 Personalities allow you to customize how your name and return address appear in the from field on messages you send.
Filters Filters give you the ability to automatically sort incoming messages into folders (or the trash), or to forward them to another email address or to your wireless device.
Spell Checker Once you have composed your message, you can check it for spelling errors.
Mail Forwarding Configure your AIM web-based Email box to forward incoming messages to another email address.
Complete Integration
Web-based Email is part of the AIM online collaboration suite, so it's available anywhere, at any time, using a convenient web browser.
